EMBELLISHED Wearable Arts Fashion Show is Bayshore Arts District’s signature annual event, where art quite literally comes to life on the body. Showcasing original, artist-designed garments and avant-garde creations, EMBELLISHED transforms the runway into an immersive celebration of creativity. Blending fashion, sculpture, and performance. This year’s theme, “Wig Out! Boogie, Bowie, and Big Hair,” invites artists to lean into bold self-expression, drawing inspiration from glam rock, disco-era energy, and unapologetic theatricality. Featuring all-local designers and artists, the show highlights the depth of talent within the community while pushing the boundaries of traditional art forms. More than a fashion show, EMBELLISHED is a high-energy, multidisciplinary experience that brings together artists, performers, and supporters for a dynamic night of expression- all in support of expanding arts programming and creative space within the district.
